Jay Alexov was born in the Czech Republic and immigrated to Canada with her husband and two young children in 1975. Although professionally trained as an Accountant, Jay has been interested in alternative healing remedies since a young girl in the Czech Republic after witnessing the slow, painful death of her Grandfather who died of cancer. Determined to make a difference and motivated by experience, Jay began her journey to pursue a career in holistic health. She began learning and researching about the healing properties of herbs and the power of nutrition.
After opening up a health food store in 1999, Jay came to understand that the most influential stage of one’s health is in prevention. Jay then began training in specific preventative therapies to become certified in recognized treatments such as bio-cell therapy and live blood analysis to expand her holistic training. Recognizing the enormous impact of her training in live blood cell analysis, Jay and her husband sold the store in 2004, so that she may fully focus on live blood analysis. Jay has found live blood cell analysis to be one of the most worthwhile assessment tools in assisting people to identify health deficiencies. With this knowledge, Jay and Dr. Gurm are able to make specific recommendations for proper nutrition and disease prevention in order to assist individuals in their journey of optimal health and wellness.
