TALKS WITH THE DOCS (SEPTEMBER 19TH - OCTOBER 17TH)
Talks with the Docs is a seminar series which originated from our vision as a clinic: to educate, empower and enhance quality of life. Our goal is to provide an open, informative and educational atmosphere for individuals to bring forth their health concerns and receive credible advice from expert health care professionals that are holistically minded - meaning, there is an understanding among us that there exists an inter-dependency between the mind, the body and the spirit and that any successful approach to achieving optimal health must encompass and address these elements.
Each session will provide a forum for discussion on topics of key health concerns plaguing our society today - everything from protecting ourselves from a toxic environment, to how to appropriately manage stress, to how you can avoid falling victim to some of the most serious ailments among us (including cardiovascular disease, neurological disorders and cancer). Depending on the topic, the session will be facilitated by one or two health care professionals: Dr. Sharon Gurm (Naturopathic Physician, Clinic Director), Dr. Pam Hirakata (PhD, Clinical Counsellor) and Fiona Moore (R.N, Doula).
